Backhoe operator — Perry County

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Perry County, Missouri. You will be based on a busy civils and groundworks site. The role involves track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient. Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
