Now hiring: brickwork mason (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Barry County, Michigan. You will be based on a busy housing site. Your main tasks: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
