Crane operator wanted in Kennebec County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Kennebec County, Maine. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work Meals and transport allowance provided.
