Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Tudun Wada, Kano State. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Day to day you will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
