The role involves installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Six days a week, one day off.
