Die-casting operator wanted in Webster County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Webster County, Nebraska. Day to day you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry We offer $230 per day plus benefits.
