Brick mason — Macon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick mason in Macon County, Alabama. The job is at a residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Full-time with occasional weekends.
