Roofing technician — Kershaw County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a roofing technician in Kershaw County, South Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs Requirements: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
