Vacancy available: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Calhoun County, Arkansas. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Day to day you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. Full-time with occasional weekends. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
