Vertical milling machine operator — Orange County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Orange County, North Carolina. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. You will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
