Backhoe loader operator — Crittenden County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Crittenden County, Arkansas. You will be based at a stone quarry. On the job you will handle: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
