Paint booth operator — Shendam

Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Shendam, Plateau State. You will be based in a busy paint shop. Your main tasks: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations What we are looking for: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
