Safety marshal — Ijebu Ode

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. The job is at a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
