Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
