Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Dange-Shuni, Sokoto State. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. ₦235,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
