Pipe TIG welder wanted in Marion County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Marion County, Kentucky. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
