Urgent requirement: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Montgomery County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes The role involves record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun.
