Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift erector in Knox County, Illinois. The job is on a lift modernisation project. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Day-to-day duties: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
