System formwork carpenter wanted in Dickinson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Dickinson County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
