Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Chaves County, New Mexico. You will work at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
