Crane rigger — Gaston County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Gaston County, North Carolina. The job is at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather The role involves direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
