Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Sierra County, New Mexico. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. The role involves: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 2+ years on the tools preferred.
