Power float operator wanted in Columbia County

Join our team: we are hiring a power float operator in Columbia County, Oregon. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Day to day you will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
