VMC operator — Antrim County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Antrim County, Michigan. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
