Die-casting operator — Tambuwal

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Tambuwal, Sokoto State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Day to day you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Part-time with flexible hours.
