Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Carbon County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. Your main tasks: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
