Argon arc welder — Ikole

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Ikole, Ekiti State. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
