We are recruiting: we are hiring a smash repairer in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The job is at an accident repair garage. Day to day you will buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line. Requirements: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
