Mason's helper — Hockley County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mason's helper in Hockley County, Texas. You will be based with a civil contractor. You should have: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio The role involves: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Overtime paid at a premium rate.
