Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Talbot County, Georgia. The role involves work out the load weight and the lifting radius; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
