Plant operator wanted in Johnson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Johnson County, Iowa. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. On the job you will handle: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
