Site carpenter — Johnson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site carpenter in Johnson County, Kansas. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. The role involves check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. What we are looking for: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
