Milling machinist — Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Washington County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
