Shuttering charge hand — Upshur County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Upshur County, Texas. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
