Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Ottawa County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work The role involves read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
