Argon welder wanted in Arthur County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Arthur County, Nebraska. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
