Great opportunity: power float operator (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Johnson County, Texas. You will work in a residential housing project. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE On the job you will handle: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
