Overhead (EOT) crane operator • Chippewa County, Minnesota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Chippewa County, Minnesota. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes On a typical shift you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins.
