Brick mason — Yancey County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick mason in Yancey County, North Carolina. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Day-to-day duties: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Pay around $20 per hour, based on your experience.
