Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Mahaska County, Iowa. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits.
