On a typical shift you will strap and band pallets ready for loading; record production counts on the shift sheet; check best-before and expiry dates on every box; change over film rolls and reset the heat sealer; shrink-wrap trays and stretch-wrap finished pallets; stack and arrange goods onto pallets for dispatch. Requirements: • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing • Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling Rotating shifts. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
