We are recruiting: cnc lathe operator (Oregon)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Yamhill County, Oregon. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
