Crawler crane operator — Mitchell County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Mitchell County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • A good head for heights for tower crane work The role involves: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
