Mechanical press operator wanted in Newaygo County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Newaygo County, Michigan. On the job you will handle: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Part-time with flexible hours.
