Electrical technician wanted in Kent County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an electrical technician in Kent County, Michigan. You will work in a power distribution substation. Requirements: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • 2+ years hands-on wiring and maintenance experience • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter Day-to-day duties: • Run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable • Wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays • Fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
