Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Yunusari, Yobe State. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes The role involves: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
