Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Wokingham, England. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
