Crane rigger • Lawrence County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Lawrence County, Illinois. You will work on a high-rise building site. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Full-time with occasional weekends.
