Furniture maker — Lee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furniture maker in Lee County, Mississippi. You will work on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Day to day you will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
