Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto painter in Wayne County, Missouri. You will work in a car refinishing workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day to day you will mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting.
